About Us
At a staff meeting in 2016, the then college's Arts team requested a London Arts listing to help inform and inspire their students. To meet this request the Library team created this website.
As a college librarians we follow the guidelines laid down by the UK Government. A brief quote from that guidance says: Teaching Several exceptions allow copyright works to be used for educational purposes...
The Library Team also created a sister site called GEMTREE. A place for Students and Staff to show art works or end of term displays etc. As a fun example of what was shown on that site, here is a youtube link promoting the 2016 Library Week, made and starring former Librarian's Leslie-Ann Campbell, Camille Foncel, students and a few other staff members and too:

The Morley College's Waterloo campus at 61 Westminster Bridge Rd, Lambeth, SE1 7HT is ideally situated for commuting students, it is near Waterloo station and not too far from Westminster Bridge. It is also a short walk from Lambeth North tube station, which may, as you make your way there, bring to mind the musical 'Me and My Girl', one of its songs, by Noel Gay, is 'Lambeth Walk' .
In February 2020 Morley will welcome into its fold two new campuses. The Chelsea campus, Hortensia Road, SW10 OQS, is in between the famous and fashionable King's Road / Fulham Road. The Kensington Campus, Wornington Road, W10 5QQ, is in the fabulous and cosmopolitan Portobello area, and by the Golbourne Road. These two were once known as Kensington & Chelsea College but in 2020 will be become branches within Morley College London.
"The aim of education should be to convert the mind into a living fountain, and not a reservoir. That which is filled by merely pumping in, will be emptied by pumping out."
(John M. Mason, 1770-1829, U.S.)
